Illusions for transmog in Legion can be obtained in different ways. Some illusions are created using Enchanting.

To create illusions, you will need materials that correspond to the add-on to which the illusion belongs - we recommend purchasing them in advance before prices rise.

Where can I learn Jewelcrafting in the Legion?

You need to complete the Facet-nating Friends quest to teach the Legion Jeweler skill - it allows you to level up Jewelcrafting to 800.

If you dropped Jewelcrafting and then decided to pick it up again, the recipes you learned during the quests can be learned again using Forgotten Designs of the Broken Isles.

Once you learn Jewelcrafting, you will be able to create almost all recipes - skill does not matter. The exception is stones with +600 characteristics: to make them, you need a Jewelcrafting skill of 800.

Jewelry Making Materials in the Legion

Jewelcrafting stones can be obtained by sifting Legion ore: Leystone Ore and Fel Slate.

There are 6 types of unusual and rare stones:

• Rare: Fury Stone, Lightbringer, Pandemonite, Maelstrom Sapphire, Dark Ruby, Eye of Prophecy.
• Uncommon: Bloodstone, Dark Amber, Azsunite, Chaos Spinel, Skystone, Royal Opal.

Sifting the ore. Jewelers have a chance to learn Felslate Mass Sifting and Leystone Mass Sifting, which will speed up the process of obtaining stones for the profession.

Interesting Jewelry Items

In Legion, jewelers can create 3 fun gadgets:

• Jewelry Pick – opens locks that require a lockpicking skill of no more than 750.
• Stonecraft - allows you to play the famous game directly in World of Warcraft, where you need to swap stones, collecting 3+ in one row. The achievement associated with this game is Professional Shift.

Inscription in the Legion

Major changes to the Inscription profession in the Legion:

• Large symbols have been completely removed from the game, and some small symbols have been turned into toys that add cosmetic effects to class abilities.
• Cosmetic glyphs apply directly to abilities and spells, and the glyph interface itself has been removed from the game. Simply click on the item symbol and then on the ability in the spell book.
• Instead of symbols, inscribers can now create special runes that provide an advantage against certain bosses.
• In addition, with the help of the Inscription in the Legion, you can create some relics for artifacts, sound scrolls for the Ambient Sound Enhancer and Calm the Mind, which allows you to change talents outside of cities.

Where can I learn the Inscription in the Legion?

To learn the Inscription profession in WOW Legion, contact the profession teacher - Professor Pallin - in the Inscription building in Dalaran. After this, complete the quest Sign This and you will be able to level up the Inscription to 800.

Most Inscription recipes do not require any profession skill to craft, but:

• Creating Sound Scrolls requires skill 700
• To open new symbols you need a certain skill - for example, skill 100 for learning Research: Ink of the King of Beasts, which will allow you to open over time, for example, the Symbol of Lizard Spirits for shamans.

Ink and grinding in Legion

There are two new inks in WOW Legion: Pink Dye (common) and Earthy Dye (rare). All Legion flowers can be ground into ink.

At level 108, inscribers can take the Mass Grinding Techniques quest, which will teach the Mass Grinding Ysera Seeds skill. After this, when grinding flowers, there will be a small chance to unlock the skill of mass grinding a certain type of herb.

There is no limit to the number of symbols you can use, but you can only apply one cosmetic effect (symbol) to each ability.

Relics of the Inscription

Using the Inscription, you can make the following relics:

• Water Mark - Ice Relic (Technique: Water Mark drops from the Wrath of Azshara boss in the Eye of Azshara dungeon)

Song Scrolls

Using Engineering in the Legion, you can create an Ambient Sound Amplifier, and using Inscription, you can make scrolls with music for this amplifier to change songs.

Each scroll requires 1 Parchment, 1 Earthy Dye, and 1 Pink Dye to craft. Recipes can be learned from various Inscription teachers for 37.5 gold.

• Scroll of Forgotten Knowledge – teaches a random effect, can be used once a week. Effects range from additional reputation to artifact power. Obtained from the quest Ancient Vrykul Art.
• Unwritten Legend – tracks PvP kills and “records” them in a book. When the book is completed, it can be exchanged for the Sightless Eye currency in the Sewer of Dalaran. There is a bonus for scribes - their book is written four times faster than usual. The recipe can be obtained from Saelorn in the Violet Fortress dungeon.
• A set of raunchy romance novels: romance novels for every taste! The recipe is given as a reward for the task Legacy of Passion.

Accessories/trinkets

An additional low-level trinket added in Legion is the Prophecy Tarot Card. The first two ranks of recipes are obtained through quests, the third rank is obtained at the Darkmoon Fair.

World of Warcraft Legion includes 4 Darkmoon decks. With the help of Annihilate, the level of accessories from these decks can be increased from 815 to 850.

As usual, to create a deck you need to fold 8 cards. Any character can fold cards, but only scribes can create them.

Unlike other professions, almost nothing has changed in Alchemy.

How to learn Alchemy in the Legion?

To learn Alchemy, talk to a trainer named Deus Valdera in Dalaran and complete the quest Make Your Own Mix. As a reward, you will receive the Legion Alchemist ability, which will allow you to upgrade your profession to 800.

To create potions and infusions, alchemists in the Legion use the following materials:

• Ysera Seed - can be obtained by collecting any Legion flowers.
• Felwort - can be obtained from flowers, but with a low chance.

Transmutations of Alchemy in the Legion

At level 106, alchemists can purchase Recipe: Wild Transmutation (Rank 1). To do this you also need to complete several tasks.

By completing transmutations, you can learn new recipe ranks, as well as unlock new transmutations, such as Transmute: Blood of Sargeras and Transmute: Meat to Pet.

The last transmutation allows you to receive the battle pet Transmutant after seven days, which can be caged and sold to other players.

Alchemical trinket

Alchemists can create a level 815 accessory: Infernal Alchemy Stone. This trinket can be upgraded to level 850 by using Annihilate seven times (each use requires 1 Infernal Brimstone).

The first rank of the recipe can be obtained from the task Demonic Bile (a quest chain that requires you to go to the Vault of the Guardians dungeon). The rest of the recipe ranks are unlocked through Discoveries.

Archeology in WOW Legion

Major changes to Archeology in Legion:

• Excavation sites have become more compact - there will be no need to run around much.
• When you reach the excavation site, a small shovel will appear above your head.
• Dig Sites on the Broken Isles appear one at a time, rather than four at a time as before.
• In Dalaran there is a special building for archaeologists - there you can learn a profession, take tasks and show artifacts found during excavations.

Getting Cooking Recipes

As you explore a few of the recipe's cooking recipes, you'll catch the attention of Nomi - grown and matured since the days of Pandaria. The quest Too Many Dishes will send you to Dalaran to find Nomi there.

You can now start work orders for any Legion meat or fish. Each order takes 3 hours to complete, and there is a chance to learn a new Cooking recipe.

Upon completion of the order, there is a chance of receiving Severely Burnt Food, so it is better not to place orders for all reagents at once, but to divide them into small batches.
